The company developed this disher specifically to accommodate correctional menus which often include 8 oz. servings of mashed potatoes or casseroles.   Cook's has the only 6, 8 and 10 oz. Correctional Dishers on the market! with an aluminum cast bowl and comfortable, ergonomically
designed handle.   Also built in to the design is the unique "banger" feature that covers and
protects the mechanism when the disher is hit against the side of a pan to empty the bowl,
making the unit longer lasting.

Cook’s Launches New “Gator Tough” Gator Tray
Lisle, IL – Cook’s Correctional Kitchen Equipment is launching the Gator Tray, a new insulated food serving tray from the Cook’s design development team. The tray is “Gator Tough” for increased durability – with a 25% thicker skin than other insulated trays on the market. The Gator Tray also has a reinforced perimeter line for additional strength to stand up over time to the tough conditions of the correctional foodservice environment.

While durability is key, the development team also wanted a “better” tray that was designed with correctional use in mind. The Gator Tray has a step design so the top and bottom surfaces nest securely together and the trays seal tightly when stacked on top of each other for meal transport. The thicker wall design also reduces the warping of trays that occurs over time so the Gator Trays will remain flat and stack up straight. All this helps maintain food temperatures during delivery, ensuring safe handling of inmate meals.
